Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians in Shepherdstown, WV. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance to keep trucks and drivers on the move.

Expect a rotating day/night schedule, the ability to lift 75+ pounds, and work in varying temperatures. Benefits start after 30 days and safety is the core priority.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
• Work in various temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work a rotating schedule with day and night shifts as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Always put safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
