Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Falling Waters, WV, is seeking a Diesel Technician to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance. The role requires the ability to move and lift 75+ pounds and to work in varied temperatures while following safety policies.

A rotating day/night schedule is possible, and Love’s pays for the DOT medical card. Competitive hourly wages range from $25.00 to $33.00.

Qualifications

• Experience in diesel vehicle maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Good customer service skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
