Cummins Inc. in Scarborough, ME is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to perform engine repairs and diagnostics in a service shop. You will maintain detailed records, adhere to safety policies, and pursue ongoing certifications while keeping your own tools ready for use.
Minimum qualifications include apprentice-trained engine technician and vocational diploma, with CDL eligibility within one year. This role is onsite with relocation support available.
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Scarborough, ME.
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
Must possess, or be able to obtain within one year of hire, a Class A or Class B CDL. This position requires the ability to safely operate and road test customer vehicles and equipment to perform advanced diagnostics, verify repairs, and confirm proper operation prior to returning equipment to service.
