We are seeking a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Mobile, AL. The role involves:

• Completing repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Performing maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools
• Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhering to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Engaging in ongoing development and certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintaining own tools

Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• To complete complex internal engine repairs
• To perform engine overhauls independently
• A detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and its components
• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

Qualifications

• A current valid CDL is required
• A 5-year motor vehicle report free of major violations
• Compliance with FMCSA drug and alcohol testing requirements and ongoing random testing
• Passing a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• Adherence to DOT driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Book use
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old
