Job summary

Paragon Leasing, L. P. is seeking a Diesel Technician I to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostic tests, and repairs on our trucks, which include equipment by Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliners and Utility Trailers. Multiple shifts available.

Responsibilities include scheduled and non-routine repairs to meet DOT standards, diesel engine diagnostics, braking and electrical work, and maintaining a clean, safe shop environment. Basic tools and a valid Class C license are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience.
• Working knowledge of telematics systems and diagnostic software.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read manuals.
• Valid Class C driver's license and English literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and non-routine repairs to fleet to meet DOT standards.
• Diesel and gas engine diagnostics and repair.
• Suspension and steering diagnostics and repair.
• Air and hydraulic braking diagnostics and repair.
