Job description

We are seeking a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution team in Harrisburg, PA.

Work Schedule and Compensation

Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM. Sign-on bonus of $5,000!

Key Responsibilities

1. Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
2. Perform maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools
3. Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
4. Follow Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
5. Engage in ongoing development and certification on new and existing Cummins products
6. Maintain own tools

Qualifications

• Experience with complex internal engine repairs and engine overhauls
• Understanding of aftertreatment systems and components
• Proficiency with engine diagnostic software
• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician or relevant vocational diploma (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and a clean 5-year motor vehicle report
• Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug testing
• Minimum 3 years driving experience; CDL may be required upon hire
• This is a second shift role, hours are Monday-Friday from 3:30 PM to 12 AM, subject to change
