Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Diesel Technician role. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, rebuilding, replacing, and completing repairs on diesel equipment, including air, hydraulic, electrical, tires, etc.
• Communicating issues to maintenance coordinators
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Inspecting equipment to meet U.S. Department of Transportation safety standards
• Compiling inspection reports
• Tracking parts and materials used in repairs
• Ensuring quality standards are met
• Maintaining a safe, clean work environment
• Completing repair documentation
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Diesel Tech Degree or at least 1 year of experience in diesel/heavy-duty trailer maintenance
• Knowledge of tools required for vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and related systems
• Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety policies
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Capability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 80 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL-A is a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; team player
