Job summary

Cumberland International Trucks is seeking skilled diesel technicians in Daytona Beach, FL. If you have 3+ years experience with International Truck engines and can work with a team to diagnose and repair diesel systems, this is your career path. Qualifications

• Experience with International Truck engines (Cummins/Detroit/CAT a plus).
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL.
• ASE certifications or OEM training preferred; training offered.
• Team player with commitment to customers and service team.
• Professional conduct and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and plan tasks after assessing issues.
• Run diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpret results.
• Inspect suspensions, steering, electrical systems; repair/replace parts.
• Repair or replace transmissions, brakes, engines and related components.
• Test drive to evaluate performance and ensure quality.
• Maintain records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience with International Truck engines required-Cummins, Detroit, and CAT experience is a plus

• Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines & interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
• Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering & electrical /Repairing or replacing transmissions, brakes, engines &other associated parts
• Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance /Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment & brake checks
• Maintaining records of parts inventory & serviced vehicles
