Job summary

Cumberland International Trucks in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician with at least 3 years of hands-on experience to join our service team.

You will perform diesel truck repairs, brakes, hydraulics, preventative maintenance and engine work, with a focus on International engines and OEM training where available.

Qualifications

• Experience with International Truck engines is required and Cummins, Detroit, and CAT experience is a plus.
• ASE certifications and OEM training are a plus, but we are willing to train you.
• Must be a team player with a strong commitment to customer service.
• Must have a valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing work orders to evaluate tasks and plan after assessing issues.
• Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting results to offer solutions.
• Inspecting vehicle systems and repairing/replacing transmissions, brakes, engines and other parts.
• Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge performance.
• Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles.

• Maintaining records of parts inventory & serviced vehicles
