US Foods in Lexington, SC is seeking a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to keep our fleet safe and reliable through preventive maintenance and timely repairs on tractors, trailers, and lift gates. You will document repairs, work with senior technicians, and adhere to DOT standards.

A valid driver's license and hands-on diesel experience are required. We offer benefits starting day one, a quarterly tool allowance, and a 401(k) with company match, along with uniforms and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic
• Must furnish own personal hand tools
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• CDL Class A preferred and DOT certification (preferred)
• Experience with Maximo fleet maintenance system
• Experience with fleet maintenance software
• Welding ability
• EPA 608 preferred

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards
• Complete repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates)
• Assist senior technicians with repairs
• Document repairs and parts used in fleet maintenance system
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per safety rules/regulations
• Willing to take on increased responsibilities and certifications
