Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Bristol, PA is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to service Cummins engine products in a busy shop environment. This on-site role covers repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, and record-keeping for our customers.

The ideal candidate has apprentice-trained or vocational diploma, familiar with Cummins engines, and a commitment to safety and ongoing training. Working hours Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with relocation available and 100% on-site requirement.

Qualifications

• Completes complex internal engine repairs.
• Performs engine overhauls unassisted.
• Detailed understanding of aftertreatment system and components.
• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software.

Job description

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Bristol, PA.

You Will Make An Impact In The Following Ways

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Compensation And Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications

• Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
• Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

Locally Valid Driving Permit (Preferred)

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

• Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

Working hours are M-F 7 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. and are subject to change due to business needs.

• This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
