Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician required.
  • Must hold a high school diploma and A level qualification in relevant fields.
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines
  • Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes
  • Interprets diagnostic test results accurately
  • Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans
  • Generates estimate for needed repairs
  • Completes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly
  • Uses power, machine, and hand tool safely
  • Follows all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Diesel Technician experience required
  • A level qualification, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
  • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
