Job summary

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a Diesel Technology Instructor at the Boone Area Technology Center in Hebron, KY. This full-time role teaches occupational preparatory classes within a Career and Technical Education program and supports student success in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Minimum requirements include Rank III Kentucky teaching certification or a Kentucky Eligibility statement, or four years of related work experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught; OR Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught; OR Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.
• EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: NONE
• Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
• Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE
• SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be able to acquire the personal national certifications applicable to the program area (A+Cert, NCCER, ABC, AGC, ASE). Applicant can be hired without the needed personal certifications but must acquire the needed certification at the next available testing period.
