Job summary

TransEdge Truck Centers seeks a Diesel Production Technician II Apprentice at its Allentown Modification Center. You will perform custom installations, inspections, and precision fabrication on Class 8 trucks, working with advanced diagnostic tools and OEM software.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and apply data from manuals, bulletins, and blueprints.
• Valid PA Class 3 Inspection License; Federal DOT inspection eligibility.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Forklift certification, or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to pursue OEM and federal certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform tailored modifications and upgrades on diverse truck systems based on client specifications.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems using OEM software and specialized tools.
• Assemble and route wire harnesses following best practices.
• Utilize DMS and Dealer Portal to track parts and repair details.
• Mentor entry-level Apprentices with technical guidance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant work environment.
