Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a technician to perform diagnostic testing, interpret results, and communicate repair plans to the Service Advisor. You will repair malfunctioning parts and electrical equipment, maintain a safe, clean workspace, and promote TA services during inspections.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, trade/technical training or prior mechanic experience, and the ability to work unsupervised with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

• Willingness to expand knowledge via education and training.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and interpret results; develop repair plan and communicate it to Service Advisor.
• Repair malfunctioning parts and electrical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Recommend other TA services during inspection reviews.
• Ensure safety of customers and employees.
