Job summary

Boss Shop in the United States is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform mechanical repairs in a timely, professional manner. You will conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and diagnostic work to repair heavy vehicles and engines.

The role requires HVAC, electrical, and DOT training, with ASE certifications preferred. A clear growth path and comprehensive benefits are offered, including on-demand pay and training programs.

Qualifications

• Must have HVAC, Electrical, and DOT training.
• Able to obtain ASE, DOT, and other certifications as required.
• Air Brake Certification and DOT Medical Card are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, tire services, and emergency road service calls.
• Conducts DOT inspections and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Performs service calls, including night and on-call assignments as required.
• Uses diagnostic platforms (J-Pro, FleetCross, OE software) to diagnose and repair vehicle systems.
• Completes work orders with labor, parts, and warranty information.
• Performs advanced engine repairs, fuel and cooling system components, turbos, and oil systems.
