Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group seeks a Shop Foreman to manage technician workload, ensure quality, and maintain shop safety and cleanliness. You will oversee daily dispatches, enforce standards, and drive a productive, organized work environment in a fast-paced trucking service setting.

Ideal candidates bring prior shop foreman or supervisory experience in trucking, strong leadership, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate complex repairs with district support

• Prior Shop Foreman experience within trucking industry preferred.
• Prior management or supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• The Shop Foreman manages technicians work volume and quality and conducts safety meetings.
• Maintains order in the shop and is responsible for its cleanliness, organization and function.
• Oversees progress updates to advisors and ensures quality control inspections are conducted and passed.
• Coordinates technicians work volume and assigns and dispatches tasks daily.
• Coaches and motivates technicians to reach productivity and efficiency goals.
