Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, is hiring a Diesel Service Technician/Mechanic in Springdale, AR. This role performs heavy-duty mechanical repairs under general supervision and includes on-the-job training toward Service Journeyman status.

You will work on engines, fuel and electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, and brakes, with supervision and safety focus. CDL preferred and required certifications help. Equipment and safety protocols emphasized.

Qualifications

• Performs and assists in general mechanical duties.
• Gains experience on engine overhaul, fuel and electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, engine tune-up, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoots minor problems.
• Attends training sessions and meetings.
• Maintains a neat, orderly working area and proper handling of company tools.
• Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Follows safe work practices and uses safety equipment when required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
