Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic in Springdale, AR. The role involves heavy-duty mechanical repair under general supervision with on-the-job training to achieve Service Journeyman status.

You will perform general mechanical duties, work on engines and systems, attend trainings, maintain a clean workspace, and follow safety practices. CDL preferred and relevant certifications help, with opportunities for internal promotion and benefits.

Qualificações

• Minimum three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses.
• CDL preferred.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs general mechanical duties and assists as needed.
• Gains experience on engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, tune-ups and general maintenance.
• Works on major components under close supervision.
• Performs troubleshooting on minor problems.
• Attends training sessions and meetings.
• Maintains a neat and orderly workspace and proper handling of company tools.
• Advises Shop Foreman of additional repair needs.
• Follows safety practices and uses safety equipment; seeks assistance when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
