Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. We are seeking a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic to perform heavy‑duty mechanical repairs under general supervision and participate in a development program to achieve Service Journeyman status.

You will gain hands-on experience on engines, fuel and electrical systems, transmissions, brakes and more while attending training sessions.

Qualifications

• Three years hands-on experience or graduation from a vocational program.
• CDL preferred.
• A/C, Brake, and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general mechanical duties.
• Gains experience by working on engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, brakes, cooling systems, and maintenance.
• Works on major components with close supervision.
• Performs troubleshooting on minor problems.
