Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a skilled technician to provide technical service on trucks and equipment. You will perform repairs, overhauls, and component installations, reading job orders and ensuring work aligns with specifications.

The role requires 5 years’ Class 7/8 technician experience, a valid driver license, and relevant certifications; ASE certifications are preferred. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered in a large dealer network.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with insurability as per company policy.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins certifications preferred and rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, bearings, transmissions and other parts.
• Read job orders, observe vehicle operation, and plan work procedures.
• Attend training and stay updated with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
