Rush Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a skilled technician to overhaul gas and diesel engines and perform comprehensive truck repairs across our nationwide network of service centers.

You will diagnose issues, replace or service engines and related components, and ensure safety standards while delivering quality customer care. We provide ongoing training, career growth, and competitive compensation in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Valid driver license; CDL A a plus.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins and ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, bearings, oil pans, and transmissions.
• Read job orders and determine malfunction; plan procedures.
• Inspect safety devices and make adjustments.
• Lubricate parts and verify conformance to specifications.
• Attend factory training and stay updated with bulletins.
• Develop relationships with customers to improve satisfaction.
