Key Responsibilities

• Proficiency in repairing and diagnosing medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including engines, power trains, electrical systems, steering, electronics, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Identify parts needed for repairs and perform preventive maintenance services.
• Document warrantable repairs on repair orders.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or verify repairs.
• Complete technical reports from various manufacturers accurately and promptly.
• Work rotational shifts, including evenings, Saturdays, and emergency after-hours service.
• Maintain professionalism, teamwork, organization, and adhere to company policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Completion of a College certification in Truck & Transport or Heavy Equipment Service Technician, with a minimum of Block 3 completed.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, complying with safety standards.
• Willingness to pursue further training and licensing.
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal reference check.
• Basic computer skills, familiar with Windows software.
• At least 4 years of experience in a service environment.
