Power Generation Field Service Technician

We are looking for a talented Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Madison, WI.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

• Completing repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field
• Developing productive customer relations and ensuring prompt and efficient attention to customer needs
• Applying documented procedures and policies to complete repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools
• Assisting with completion of documentation such as work completed reports, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms via handwritten forms or business system input screens
• Completing training aligned with skill and business requirements
• Ensuring adherence to all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and reporting any issues or incidents to supervisors

Responsibilities

To be successful, you should have:

• Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
• High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
• Ability to perform electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision, with hands-on exposure to power generation products

Entry Level

Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators. Basic Diesel Engine experience required. Requires direct supervision and review of work quality.

Qualifications

This is a remote Field Service Power Generation technician position based in Madison, WI, servicing Southern Wisconsin.

• A valid current license is required
• Must be 18 years or older with at least 2 years of driving experience
• A 5-year motor vehicle report free from major violations is required

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits vary by location and may include 401(k), pension, medical/dental/life insurance, HSA, domestic partners coverage, and other personal and professional benefits.

Salary Range: $22.69 - $34.01 per hour
