Job summary

Mechanics Hub in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our family-oriented team. This first-shift, full-time role involves maintaining a fleet of heavy trucks and construction equipment, diagnosing issues, and performing field service as needed.

Qualifications

• Lead Hand or Supervisory mechanic experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with Volvo, Peterbilt and Mack trucks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of heavy trucks and construction equipment.
• Lead field service repairs and emergency breakdown work as needed.
• Maintain safety protocols and a positive work environment.
• Use diagnostic software (Tech Tool/JPro) to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

A family-oriented excavation and trucking company in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania is looking for a dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join their team of skilled technicians. This is a full-time, first-shift position offering competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and the chance to grow with a company that values its employees as part of the family.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of heavy trucks and construction equipment.Work on Volvo, Peterbilt, and Mack trucks along with heavy equipment including loaders, dozers, and backhoes.Utilize diagnostic software such as Tech Tool and JPro to troubleshoot and repair equipment.Perform field service repairs and emergency breakdown work using company service trucks.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies while fostering a positive work environment.Must possess strong leadership skills and maintain a calm, composed demeanor under pressure.Must have own hand tools.Requirements:Minimum years of experience in a Lead Hand or Supervisory Mechanic role.Valid driver's license.Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset.ASE Certifications considered an asset.Compensation:$30.00 - $40.00/HR (based on experience and qualifications).Typical overtime of 5-10 hours per week.Medical and Dental Benefits after 90 days with the company covering 75% of employee premiums.401(k) with company matching up to 3% after one year of service.Annual $1,000 Tool, Boot, and Work Gear Allowance.Company provided uniforms.Vacation package starting with 1 week after the first year and increasing with tenure (negotiable for experienced candidates).Shift:Monday to Friday6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.Regular overtime availability with an additional 5-10 hours per week typical.On-call rotation during winter snow removal season only.If you're a Diesel Mechanic looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable company that values teamwork, leadership, and hands-on mechanical expertise, apply today to take the next step in your career!#MHA
