Job summary

aprrllcdbanewenglandtruckcenter is seeking a Road Service Technician to join our on-the-road diesel service team. This full-time role involves diagnosing and repairing commercial diesel vehicles, responding to emergency calls, and delivering high-quality service to drivers.

You’ll work with Dispatch, Parts, and Management, must have a valid driver's license and DOT medical card, and be prepared for weekend and on-call shifts. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; diesel engine repair training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and current DOT medical card.
• Experience with diesel-powered trucks and equipment; strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient with diesel engine diagnostic software and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and handle roadside emergencies.
• Weekend and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and diagnose/repair diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Parts, and Management to deliver fast service.
• Perform emergency roadside diagnostics, brake/electrical/tire repairs.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs.
• Keep the service truck clean, organized, and stocked.
• Follow safety procedures and complete paperwork promptly.
