Job summary

New England Truck Center is seeking a skilled Road Service Technician to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and service on diesel trucks and equipment. This full-time role involves roadside emergencies, high-quality workmanship, and staying connected with Dispatch and Management.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, handle brake and tire work, and ensure parts are obtained as needed. Weekend/on-call availability is required to meet customer needs and drive earnings potential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Diesel engine training and/or certification preferred.
Current DOT Medical Card required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Experience with diesel-powered trucks and equipment helpful.

Responsibilities

Respond to service calls and diagnose, repair, and service diesel vehicles and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems quickly and accurately.
Perform brake, electrical, and tire repairs and related tasks.
Complete engine and powertrain repairs, from minor to advanced.
Test-drive trucks and equipment to verify repairs.
Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work area.
