We are hiring a Diesel Engine Mechanic for our Tomball location. What You’ll Do as a Diesel Engine Mechanic

As a Diesel & Natural Gas Industrial Engine Technician/Mechanic, your responsibilities include:

1. Diagnosing and performing repairs on Caterpillar engines and generator sets.
2. Performing routine maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, and rebuilds.
3. Removing, installing, disassembling, and reconditioning power units and generator sets.
4. Conducting system testing, adjustments, and failure analysis.
5. Troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
6. Ensuring quality work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Requirements

• Own tools required for repairs
• High school diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred
• Previous mechanic or military experience
• Familiarity with Caterpillar power units, generator, and fuel systems
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electronic, and engine systems
• Ability to perform diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting independently
