Job summary

Arrow Stage Lines in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Diesel Service Technician/Mechanic to maintain a pristine fleet of late-model motorcoaches. The role offers a 1st shift from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

with pay based on experience, $28–$33 per hour, and a strong safety-focused culture. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, including brakes, A/C systems, engines, and electrical components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical college certificates preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Brake and A/C certifications are preferred.
• Valid CDL preferred.
• Passenger endorsement preferred or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug testing and background check.
• On-call, evenings, and weekends work required; on-call weeks can earn up to $500 extra.
• Organize and complete work within deadlines; reliable with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fleet of late-model motorcoaches and support vehicles.
• Ensure every coach is safe, reliable, and defect-free.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, and routine service.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings, and related components.
• Repair and maintain engine components, including fuel injection systems.
• Repair electrical systems.
• Change tires on buses and support vehicles.
• Repair gas/diesel engines and A/C systems.
• Work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
