Job summary

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Level 2 Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines on a variety of vehicles and equipment. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and longevity of the fleet.

Starting pay is $30.04 per hour, with ASE certification incentives; master ASE adds premium. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, health/dental/vision and 401k. DOT drug testing applies; ability to work flexible shifts is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• ASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program provided.
• Mechanic’s Tool Set.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose diesel engine issues using advanced tools and software.
• Perform moderate to complex repairs on diesel engine components.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Execute routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Lead diagnostic tests and determine repair strategies.
• Mentor junior technicians and support shop workflow.
