Ryder System, Inc. is hiring diesel mechanic technicians of all experience levels in Park City, KY. The role offers permanent full-time employment with weekly hourly pay and a quarterly bonus potential.

Eligible employees can earn an ASE certification bonus and a range of standard benefits from day one. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational certification preferred, and valid CDL (E required; A preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• One year or more of mechanical repair experience on heavy/medium duty equipment.
• Ability to demonstrate advanced diagnostics, overhaul, and repair of vehicle systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to pass Ryder regulated status requirements and perform shift work.

Responsabilités

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Performs preventive maintenance and diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems.
• Identifies root causes and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components and performs facility maintenance.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Uses Shop Management System and adheres to compliance guidelines.

Formation

High School diploma or equivalent

Vocational or Technical Certification

Post-secondary vocational education

Non Commercial Driver License CLASS E

Commercial Driver License CLASS A preferred

State license as required
