Zusammenfassung

Miller Transportation Group is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician for its Vineland, NJ operations. The role involves preventive maintenance and reconditioning of Class 1–8 trucks, diagnosing engine fault codes, and performing brake, steering, suspension, clutch, and transmission work.

Candidates should have prior fleet or diesel mechanic experience, and either hold a CDL (A or B) or be able to obtain one with the company trainer.

Qualifikationen

• Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors.
• A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a CDL with trainer assistance.
• Hand tools.
• Ability to work Tuesday–Saturday with specific shift schedule.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures.
• Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches & transmissions.
