Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. You will identify root causes, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with state and federal trucking regulations.

The role requires 2+ years of repair experience, including PMs and electrical troubleshooting, with preferred experience in A/C refrigeration. Road calls may be required in this essential operations role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PMs and diagnostics.
• Experience with A/C refrigeration and electrical troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet tractors, trailers, and reefer units.
• Identify root causes of basic failures and perform repairs.
• Ensure roadworthy status with proper licensing and registrations.
• Document work orders accurately in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers and perform road call services as needed.
