Position Details:

• 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 9:00pm - 5:00am
• Pay starts at $32.00 per hour, or more depending on experience

Position Purpose:

We value the safety of our associates! The Diesel Technician - Class B keeps our associates safe by repairing, maintaining, and overhauling all company fleet diesel equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and convertor dollies.
• Ensure equipment has required licensing and registration.
• Document repairs and maintenance through the online system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other parts.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, lubrication.
• Train/provide guidance to other Mechanics.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
3 - 5 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair, and refrigeration experience.
