Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude for mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
• Ability to diagnose standard mechanical and electronic problems with diagnostic tools when applicable.
• Willingness to obtain CDL within 6 months if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems and uses diagnostic equipment as needed.
• Ensures safety and compliance with DOT/MOT guidelines.
• Interacts with drivers to determine nature of service issues and required repairs.
