Job summary

Swift Transportation Company in Troutdale, OR is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain our fleet on-site. You will work with flexible shifts and earn $25-$30 per hour, with overtime rates of $37.50-$45 when available.

This role offers growth within a large, established fleet and a path to advance your diesel technician skills. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose repairs, disassemble and rebuild components, and handle tire maintenance while enjoying a strong benefits package and

Responsibilities

• Complete a quality preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on all company owned equipment, to include tractors, trailers, refrigerated units and support equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications (OEM, DOT, Swift, etc.)
• Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
• Disassemble, repair and re-assemble of Heavy Truck & Trailer components.
• Perform tire maintenance to include: repairs, failure analysis, coding, identification.

Pay: $25 - $30 ($37.50 -$45 Overtime rate when available)

Shift: 4-10 Hour Days or 5-8 Hour Days shift times can be flexible.

Job Responsibilities: What you will do as a Diesel Mechanic
