- Hourly Pay: $32.00 per hour
- Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE Certification obtained, up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus: up to $500 every quarter
- Sign-On Bonus: $2000 at 30 days and $2000 at 90 days
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
- Hours: Second shift 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or technical certifications preferred
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive engines, including:
- Preventative maintenance (oil changes, brake, tire work)
- Diagnostics and repairs (AC, electrical systems)
- Major engine repairs, diesel after-treatment, or fuel injection repairs
- Four or more years of relevant experience preferred
- Valid CDL Class A preferred
- Other certifications as required by location
Additional requirements:
- Ability to perform all T3 tasks
- Advanced analytical and repair skills
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability for shift work, weekends, and on-call duties
- Preferred ASE certifications in PM, brakes, A/C, electrical, electronics, or ASE master mechanic
- Proficiency with shop computers and diagnostic equipment
- Minimum tool requirements
- Ability to road test vehicles
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- Note: Must be able to operate Ryder vehicles, obtain CDL within 6 months, pass drug tests, physical, road test, and background checks.
Responsibilities
- Complete OEM diagnostic courses and OEM instructor-led training
- Perform vehicle maintenance, including preventive and complex repairs
- Utilize maintenance documents and diagnostic tools
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems
- Assist roadside breakdowns remotely
- Perform facility maintenance
- Interact with customers/drivers to identify issues
- Mentor other technicians and advise management
- Use shop management systems and documentation
- Comply with safety and regulatory guidelines
- Support additional shop duties as needed
