Benefits and Compensation

• Technician Positions Pay Each Week
• Hourly Pay: $32.00 per hour
• Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
• Sign On Bonus: Ryder Pays You $1750 at 30 days and $1750 at 90 days
• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
• Hours: Second Shift Tuesday - Thursday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Friday 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Saturday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification, or Post Secondary degree preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
• Three or more years relevant work experience preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
• All required certifications by location

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience with heavy and medium-duty equipment repairs and diagnostics
• Computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle maintenance and repair, including preventive maintenance and diagnostics
• Facility maintenance duties
• Customer interaction to determine the nature of complaints
• Use of Shop Management System and electronic documentation
• Compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
• Mentoring junior technicians
• Access and use of maintenance documents
• Additional support duties as needed, including Service Island support
• Complete OEM diagnostic courses as required
