We are currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at our Clermont, IN terminal.
About the Position:
- OurDiesel Mechanicsare responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems for heavy-duty trucks and equipment.Tanker experience preferred, but not required.
- Location: Clermont, IN
- Salary: $25-$35 per hour, based on experience.
- Full-Time Schedule:Monday - Friday with flexibility based on business needs. Some on-call and weekend work may be required.

Position Responsibilities:
- Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
- Keeps equipment available for use by completing required services as scheduled.
- Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering and hydraulics
- Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
- Complies with federal and state vehicle testing requirements.
- Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
- Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Degree preferred.
- Previous experience working on heavy duty trucks is required.
- Military experience with fuel / logistics / transportation is a plus.
