Job Description

As a Diesel Mechanic/Technician:

• Up to $32 based on experience (more if you have a CDL)

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle condition.
• Perform system repairs including engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive-train, steering, suspension, electrical, and A/C.
• Complete all preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and repairs in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, refrigeration systems, MHE.
• Schedule 2nd and 3rd shift work; overtime opportunities available.
• Earn more with CDL A license.

Qualifications

• CDL A license Preferred (higher pay with CDL A)
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Basic math skills
• Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school or minimum 3 years related experience
• Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of hydraulics
• Own set of tools
• Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 75 pounds
• Clean PSP/MVR
• Strong communication skills
• Computer proficiency with MS Office and TMT
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
