The Shop Diesel Mechanic/Technician is responsible for performing mechanical repairs efficiently and professionally. Key duties include performing PMs, tire services, inspections, electrical repairs, wheel end repairs, air system repairs, HVAC, coolant repairs, welding, engine, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and transmission repairs, maintaining shop cleanliness, ensuring safety, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications include minimum two years' diesel tech experience, certifications (e.g., Tire Service, Air Brake, DOT Medical), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Physical requirements include lifting up to 75 lbs., standing, walking, and other physical activities.

This is an entry-level, full-time position in the manufacturing and management industry sector, with no supervisory responsibilities. Candidates must be able to communicate in English and have reliable transportation.
