Immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Senior Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $31.21 per hour
• Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE Certification, up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 per quarter
• Sign-On Bonus: $1,750 at 30 days and $1,750 at 90 days
• Toolbox/Tool Allowance
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
• Hours: First Shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in automotive gas or diesel engine repair, including preventative maintenance and diagnostics
• Minimum 2 years experience with heavy and medium-duty equipment repairs
• Valid CDL Class A preferred
• All certifications required by location

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background check
