Diesel Mechanic Technician - Sign On Bonus

We are hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician for our Miller Truck Leasing division in NE and S Philadelphia, PA. We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus ($1,000 after 30 days and $1,500 after 90 days).

Diesel Mechanic Technician Duties

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and reconditioning on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes using OEM software, following warranty procedures.
• Repair or replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches and transmissions.

Requirements

• Experience as a fleet, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience or training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors.
• Valid CDL or ability to obtain one with our trainer's assistance.
• Hand tools.
• Experience with refrigeration units is a plus but not required.
• Availability to work in:
• South Philly - 2nd shift: Tuesday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm, Saturday 7am-3:30pm.
• Northeast Philly - 2nd shift: Tuesday-Friday, 2:30pm-11pm, Saturday 8am-4:30pm.
