All-Star Transportation is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Service Technician for our Seymour, CT location. This full-time role involves performing complex engine, electrical, fuel, brake and exhaust repairs on large commercial vehicles, plus thorough preventive maintenance and roadside service as needed.

Candidates should have accreditation or certification and relevant experience, be able to pass a background check, and expect a 40-hour work week with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as diesel mechanic or mechanic preferred.
• Accreditation from a school or certification program preferred.
• Pre-employment background checks completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections per OEM standards.
• Conduct engine, electrical, fuel, brake, and exhaust repairs.
• Provide emergency roadside services as needed.
• Document repairs on work orders accurately and maintain tools.
