All-Star Transportation is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Service Technician in Seymour, CT to perform complex engine, electrical, fuel, brake and exhaust repairs on large commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities include thorough preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled maintenance, with potential overtime and on-call duties. Applicants must have school accreditation or certification and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience or as a mechanic preferred.
• Accreditation from a school or certification program preferred.
• Pre-employment background checks required.
• Complete all training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough preventive maintenance inspections.
• Complete maintenance operations including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotation.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance as needed under supervision.
• Repair complex engine, electrical, fuel, brake, and exhaust systems and conduct field tests.
