POSITION: GSE MECHANIC III

Your primary responsibility will be repairing and maintaining motorized and non-motorized Ground Support Equipment (GSE). You will perform advanced maintenance and repairs on various ground support equipment.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A GSE MECHANIC III

• Exceed customer service expectations
• Follow safety practices and standards

• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid, and compressed air

• Log repair work and describe tasks for each piece of equipment
• Inspect, troubleshoot, replace, repair, overhaul, or modify engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, bumpers, bodywork, and other components
• Remove, test, repair, or replace components such as carburetors, sensors, valves, and more
• Diagnose problems with test equipment and manuals
• Operate and test ground equipment for performance
• Complete paperwork and track parts used

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Minimum 6 years of verified experience
• Own tools and toolbox
• Reliable attendance
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Proficient with electronic devices
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to obtain necessary credentials (FAA, TSA, etc.)
• Flexible to work any day or shift, including holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONS

• Lift up to 70 pounds
• Sit for long periods; stand and walk for extended times
• Push, pull, crawl, bend, and work at heights
• Exposure to noise, biohazards, chemicals, outdoor elements
• Respond to alarms and signals
• Perform repetitive arm, wrist, hand, and finger motions
• Vision requirements: near, distance, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment
