Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Master Level Rebuild Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in Indianapolis, Indiana.

- Hourly Pay: $33.00 per hour
- Certification Bonus of $100 for each new ASE Certification obtained, up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus: Ryder pays up to $500 every quarter
- Sign-On Bonus: $2000 at 30 days and $2000 at 90 days
- Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, weekends off
- Hours: First shift 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Vocational or technical certifications preferred
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including:
- Routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs (AC, electrical systems), major engine repairs, diesel after-treatment, or fuel injection
Four or more years relevant experience preferredValid CDL Class A preferredOther certifications as required by locationAdditional Requirements:
- Ability to perform all T3 tasks
- Advanced analytical and repair skills
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability for shift work, weekends, and on-call duties
- Prefer ASE certifications in PM, brakes, A/C, electrical, electronics, or Master mechanic
- Proficiency with shop computers and diagnostic equipment
- Minimum tool requirements
- Road test vehicles as necessary
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. To become a Ryder employee you must:
- Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
- Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background, and motor vehicle checks

Responsibilities
- Complete all OEM diagnostic courses and certifications
- Perform vehicle maintenance, preventive and complex repairs
- Utilize maintenance documents and diagnostic tools
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic issues
- Assist roadside breakdowns via remote triage
- Maintain shop and facility operations
- Interact with customers and drivers
- Mentor and advise other technicians
- Use shop management systems and documentation
- Comply with safety and regulatory guidelines
- Support other operational duties as needed
