Job summary

StreamTech in Geismar, Louisiana, is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to maintain and repair diesel equipment, perform inspections, and ensure safety and reliability for vehicles and stationary equipment. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

The position offers pay up to $32 per hour and benefits including health and 401(k); on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a diesel mechanic preferred.
• Valid Class A or B Driver’s License preferred, minimum Class E-Chauffeur’s license.
• If CDL licensed, at least 2+ years required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a physical, drug testing, and background check.
• Ability to work in adverse conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow).
• Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
