Job summary

Ita Trucks in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Skilled Full-Time Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our Service Department on a Monday-Friday shift. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing and maintaining heavy-duty diesel equipment to keep our fleet reliable.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience as a heavy-duty diesel tech, is dependable and punctual, and can perform electrical, engine and hydraulic repairs, tune-ups and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a heavy-duty diesel technician.
• CDL license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect, test and diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform electrical, engine and hydraulic repairs.
• Conduct routine PM, such as oil changes and battery checks.
• Perform warranty maintenance.
• Duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Skilled Full-Time Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our Service Department in Baton Rouge, LA, working a Monday-Friday shift.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Dependable and punctual;
• Have at least 1-2-years' experience working as a heavy-duty diesel tech.

Responsibilities:

• Able to troubleshoot, inspect, test and diagnose malfunctionings;
• Able to perform electrical, engine and hydraulic repairs;
• Perform routine PM, such as oil changes, checking/changing batteries, etc,;
• Perform Warranty Maintenance;
• Duties as assigned.
