You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, while documenting work clearly and ensuring safety and quality. DOE pay range is $30.00-$50.00 per hour with full benefits and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment.
• MTU and Volvo engine experience highly preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills across diesel platforms (Cummins, CAT, Detroit, etc.).
• Valid driver's license (CDL optional for extra pay).
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
Location: Williston North Dakota
Pay Range: $30.00-$50.00/ hour DOE

Interstate Power Systems is hiring Diesel Technicians of all experience levels for our Williston, ND location.

We are seeking experienced technicians with the ability to diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel construction equipment and heavy-duty trucks. Candidates with Construction Equipment, MTU and Volvo engine experience are highly .

What You’ll Work On

• Heavy-duty diesel construction equipment and heavy-duty trucks
• Engines and systems across Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit, Deutz, Allison, Cummins, CAT, MTU, Volvo, Liebherr and more
• Diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine and equipment issues
• Perform maintenance on trucks and construction equipment
• Communicate clearly with foreman and service team
• Maintain accurate service documentation
• Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Experience with diesel construction equipment and/or heavy-duty trucks required
• MTU and Volvo engine experience strongly
• Strong diagnostic skills across diesel platforms (Cummins, CAT, Detroit, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license (CDL = additional compensation)
• Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused
